Exciting news! My book is now available in the newest Kaplan’s Early Learning Preschool Catalog as a part of a bundle of books in the Social/Emotional category.  

My sister Raini Reid Gilmore met Jenna Bush-Hager, Guest Speaker, (a contributing correspondent to NBC's Today and an active teacher who serves as a reading coordinator) at Circle of Friends XV - Jan 27, 2011charity luncheon to benefit the CARE House. Picture taken by Social Lights reporter, Sally Gerak, from The Paper for Birmingham-Bloomfield. I signed copies of my book for both Jenna Bush-Hager and her mother (the former First Lady, Laura Bush) and gave them to Raini to hand deliver during the charity luncheon (would love to have been there myself, I heard it was a great experience.) Thanks Raini for delivering them for me.

*Book signing at Leon & Lulu’s in Clawson, Sunday, October 9th, 2011 from 11-5. This event is a benefit for the Detroit Free Press “Gift of Reading” Campaign!

*Presentation at the Warren Public Library, Saturday, September 17th, 2011 1:00 p.m. My friend Sally made 24 adorable bean bags that have the transferred pages from my book on them. The children had so much fun deciding if the bean bag was an “OH NO” or “AH YES” choice.
